It's right - I'm so sorry American fans, I can only hope you voted for Hillary. It's a really terrifying, and dark day - the most shocking in American politics ever I believe.
Already seeing reports of varying racists acting out and people reported on by twitter. IDK how true it is but I'm nonetheless not at all surprised. We're all so different in here, for example I'm from New Zealand so you'd think I'd be quite removed. However we are so heavily influenced by USA, the unfortunately most powerful Western country, and we will feel the echoes of this over the next few months and years.
The world is fighting back against the recent positive progressive tides, and people that were formerly privileged but have since been treating as equals, are fighting back and will throw any minority under the bus in order to progress themselves. It's a very sad time, and even though being a "Madonna fan" is a pretty loose bond, we do talk to each other in here every day and we are connected.
Take care everybody, American or not, as this is ablow to us all.
