Well then cheated with what? The delegates? That's not in the emails.
The only thing that's in the emails is basically DNC officials helping the Hillary campaign find talking points to use against him
So... Where's the rigging of the results exactly. He was weak, sorry.

You keep regurgitating this statistic as if there isn't a difference between caucuses and primaries
As if the DNC didn't strategise in her favour
As if Hillary wasn't declared the nominee prematurely, depressing his voters
As if Bernie didn't get the least media coverage
As if Hillary didn't also win the popular vote in this General Election that happened literally JUST NOW, yet look at whose president....
Those stats are dry, keep it.

The whole point is that Bernie never got a fair shot. The DNC had chosen Hillary way back in 2008 and no one was going to stand in their way. DWS was working for her, they were pulling strings with the media, obviously he wasn't going to beat her when the odds were stacked against him.
Like is it that difficult to understand? Or are y'all still acting like Bernie was given special treatment by the media and that MSM is, somehow, against Hillary?

They don't. She's won the popular vote of every election she's been in. Doesn't scream loathed to me. Can Bernie relate?

Again I ask you, stop telling yourself that this Trump isn't real. THIS IS HIM. THIS IS WHAT HE'S GOING TO DO. Wake up.

who cares about the what ifs.
what happened happened. everyone assumed hillary would win against trump, and she lost. now you're using the polls to say bernie would win against trump, as if they just weren't completely false.

Lol they declared her the nominee when it was mathematically impossible for him to win. How is that depressing voters? He had no pathway to a win.
And Bernie got the least media coverage because he was a nobody. She's a very polarizing and controversial figure and most of her coverage was negative anyway. Let's not forget the emails and Benghazi. He had no scandal going on for him yet lost.
DNC preferred but she's the lifelong democrat so...

What we need to be doing is finding ways to enact progressive policies locally and at the state level in the next year, then ridding Congress of as many GOPers as possible in 2018.

********. The DNC clearly prefered Obama in 2008. They gave him all the delegates despite them being equal in the popular vote ( unlike Bernie vs Hillary)
And most of her coverage was negative so not sure how that's supposed to help her... Even he had to shut down the emails obsession during a debate.

Yup, from the bottom up. It's going to be slow, but it's our best bet.

Yeah. I wonder if Obama is still planning on focusing on redistricting post-presidency. A red Congress will probably make that difficult, if not impossible.
Helping other Dems win in 2018 should be his biggest focus now.

Baby steps again. Local, state, midterms. It's what we should do.

Well when they were counting super delegates as pledged delegates 2 months into the race, they were definitely depressing voters because it made her lead look gigantic.
Trump got the most negative coverage in his party and won the nomination too. Clearly visibility is what's most important in the end.
And lets not forget that Hillary Clintons campaign had the most money, because she was taking money from cooperation, furthermore the DNC were laundering money into her campaign...
I doubt this is the end of it. I'm sure even more scandals will come to light.

Of course they would go this route Probably Tim Kaine himself

They never will. They will always believe they know better, because they are a PolSci major and/or their views more closely match what they hear on CNN. In 2020, they will come down even harder on non-establishment candidates, and the party will try to pander to the same old center-leaning democratic base that failed Hillary this time.

Although, if he were up against a traditional democrat candidate i.e. White man with some government experience it may have worked but even then, I doubt it
|
You mean like all the ones he clowned in the republican primary? The only hope to beat him was a non establishment democrat, perhaps one who also had a populist message while outdoing him on experience and reliability? Perhaps one that didn't rival him in having historically low unfavorables and untrustworthiness (or hell, perhaps even a single candidate who had net positive favorability?) I wonder who that could have been?

This. The fact that some keep mentioning total votes, when those were by and large closed democratic primaries, in which independents couldn't vote (and plenty of young people and/or people who didn't usually vote had to deal with last minute barriers to registration). Bernie smashed Hillary with independents, who couldn't vote in most primaries, and would have been a major factor in the general.
