She has been in politics for a very long time and people never liked her and she was never really consistent with what she said.

What she should have done is to focus on the states like Florida, Ohio, Maine, Iowa, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania and show some love and care there. She lost mainly because of these states.

Trump won by a landslide with less votes than Romney.
DEMOCRATS stayed home.
They never got behind Hillary while the GOP decide to support Trump.

You need to win the most votes in the right states to rack up Electoral College votes. The states with the largest populations have the most electoral votes. Whoever racks up 270 EC votes wins. You can win the most votes overall, but if they are not in the right states to get that 270 EC vote count, you don't win the Presidency.
