When you really think about it, it does make sense that he won. We were SO comfortable. 8 years of the coolest president ever and all the social progress. We really did get too cocky. We really started to underestimate how determined and strong bigoted America is. All the progress we made had them down there boiling ready to erupt while we chilled up here totally oblivious of what was cooking down there.
I suppose there's no way the Electoral college won't respect what the people want? I mean, it'd be kinda of a tricky thing to do, but like, they probably know he'll damage the U.S and the world, right? They just can't let it happen?
I'm not going to lie, I'm so ****ing angry at the results but I'm also happy I live in California. I feel safe here and everyone I know is friendly and open minded. I don't plan to travel to any other state besides Washington, Oregon and NY in the next 4 years.
I just feel like this country is going to go to **** and white people are going to feel superior over any other race from now on because their president encouraged it.
I saw a map that said if only millennials voted, Trump would have only won 23 electoral votes.
