It's called returning the favor 8 years later after the work the Clintons put in to help bridge the party back together like Bernie is doing now. Also, it's about protecting his legacy built over the course of that time. They've done wonders on the campaign trail, that was never gonna be in doubt. Democrats do the coming together thing better than the GOP ever could hope to do.

Pretty much. I'm perched for North Carolina and Missouri, living on one last prayer. I just need Jason "The Future" Kander to rise and pull a 2008 Al Franken and win by 212 total votes.
Senate for me. The House has no hope at all. I simply don't believe it.
There's also the governor race for my state. I need a change of pace. I only know Republican Governors.
I don't expect us to get the majority. But we NEED to gain some seats to close the gap. That makes it easier to get a few Republicans to help us. We're currently at an historic low.

I'm worried that Chaffetz and Cruz will hinder her plans and follow through on their threats to slap her investigation after investigation. We NEED the Senate otherwise HRC won't be able to do **** and will certainly lose in 2020.

Even with scandals and unfavorables, she would've been able to push through. I was more worried about Bernie in the primaries than I ever was about Trump in the general. He has a ceiling of appeal that was never going to be in doubt. Once she cleared the Bernie hurdle, it was just a matter of gritting it out.
