Again, you are listing omarian and j holiday and mario as the competition.

There was no competition because they are all mediocre...it's just Chris was a great performer in addition to his mediocre music.

And he had the appeal. Turtle faced Neyo was not going to have the appeal to the teen market.

So yeah chris brown wasn't competing like a Usher and Timberlake, Mariah, Whitney, Celine, Britney xtina Pink had to.

It's not even called r&b anymore the way it lost it's essence. No wonder chris and beyonce are the known ones.

The fact that i bought all of chris browns albums up until 2011 and legitimately can name 3 known hits and then there is loyal which came after and is an awful song embracing stereotypes because it can't embrace quality
