God this season is awful. I mean, people talk about how campy/cheesy Coven was but at least some of the characters had interesting backstories and shown development. There's literally no likeable characters this season, and Audrey is the first ever Sarah Paulson character for me to dislike. Don't even get me started on the script.
Lana returning is just another attempt from Ryan to take the show back to it's heyday.

Poetic justice is a concept from Dante's Inferno, which some people think AHS is based on. It basically means punishment/justice to fit the crime. Like how Jude kept Lana at Briarcliff even though she knew she didn't belong there, and then Jude herself ended up a patient.
