But that's the thing.... She DOES care about hits. She cares about them becoming too big.
I know it sounds weird, but she purposely puts her foot on songs neck when they start taking off. It's like she's trying to make sure her discography is evenly considered as opposed to having several defining hits.
I don't know if it's a strategy they came up with over at PARKWOOD, but it rings odd that she literally just had to release on YouTube, Spotify, and radio and the world will do the rest. Like how Drunk went #2 on pure streams alone. She knows people want to invest her, but she's trying to make sure it's not just in her singles.
