How are those cities better and more known tho? Like, Venice remains unmatched in the entire world. Milan isn't as good as any of the ones you mentioned, tho.
Valencia and Barcelona are the typical destinations of Italian 18 year olds with limited money who want to get drunk. No shade @ Mark Rih who went there last month

While Ibiza and Malaga are chosen by millionaires as their place to spend long time vacations.
That's what's good about Spain, you have poor 18 year olds and millionaires partying together.

You seem to forget the world's best selling fashion emporium (Inditex) originated in Spain. With brands such as Zara, Pull & Bear, Massimo Dutti and Oysho.

Bitch Barcelona is great for partying, clubbing and stuff like that but it's also a beautiful city with history and art. In addiction it has a nice beach and the food is great. It's a nice combo for a week with your friends.

We have Rimini for that. The Russians stan for it
But I prefer people without too many tourists, and I prefer traveling with only one person or a small group of people so that they strictly follow my travel plans. It worked flawlessly last summer in Lithuania

Ew. Rome >>> Madrid
Barcelona slays. The others 2 are good but not even close to Venice and Florence. Then Milan is iconic so >>>
EW. Italian culture, history and art >>>>>
Idk and idc
Yeah this might be true.
Italian food is the best Spain one is great too tho
Let me add something rn. Italy has ALPS, the ski resorts there are as good as the ones in Switzerland and Austria. Italy has beautiful lakes, not sure about Spain. Italy has Sicily and Sardinia, which destroy all the spanish Islands, especially because they're bigger. (I went to Menorca for example, I mean it's beautiful, but it's small and you can find the same beaches or even better in Sicily and Sardina; these 2 has a lot more to offer tho). Ibiza is good just for partying and discos

Young ppl from Spain are coming here because they can not find work in Spain.

The problem with the Spanish islands is that they're too affected by British tourism. And no shade to all the Brits in here, but the #1 rule for Italians is to avoid y'all like the plague when on vacation, because British tourism = low quality restaurants and generally low standards.
For example, in 2015 I went to Lanzarote, a popular British destination just like all the Canaries, and ALL the restaurants there had an average of 4.5 stars on tripadvisor bc y'all really have no standards when it comes to food Of course the islanders have adapted to this type of tourism to satisfy the British tourists' demands so the outcome is that the Spanish islands completely lack atmosphere and personality. Greece would NEVER!
On the other hand, Sardinia and Sicily have managed to stay nearly unaffected by foreign tourism (mostly because of the higher prices), so it's a completely different experience.

Rimini's beach sucks tho and the city isn't even comparable to Barcelona. Mmm, now that I'm thinking about this the only thing that really Italy lacks of is exactly a city like Barca. Oh well Spain you can have that we stay winning

I'm sorry but no.
Rome is, in fact, in ruins.
You can thank the Roman empire for the great monuments but geez, have you been to the underground? It's the nastiest place I've ever laid eyes on (dirt everywhere, old ass delayed trains, smelly people 24/7). Not to mention the busses or most public places. Most of the city center looks like it's about to crash down at any minute. Its nightlife is also very lacking.
Florence >>>>>>> Rome.
And DEFINITELY, Madrid >>>> Rome.

Uh oh. As a spanish I have to say I don't relate to my country, its culture and I don't like the typical food BUT how cab the OP say it lacks good food?
It's the mediterranean diet, the best one in the world, check it out before your arteries collapse!
Apart from that, Spanish history is really interesting, we have had EVERYTHING here from the Roman Empire, the Muslim conquest etc...
We are funny people, I guess but I can't wait to get my ass out here
