I agree, completely. I think that the well-known cast members playing reenactments adds a clever juxtaposition to the authenticity of the "real life" characters (Most of whom are played by less recognizable/unknown actors).

Episode 7 is the most intense and scary episode in AHS's history. Without a shadow of doubt.

The acting was......there's no words.

Lily Rabe's acting when she's desperately crying is one of the most believable I've ever seen.

I think 'Chapter 7' was the most hilarious in AHS ever. And they didn't even camp it up as they usually do

- Audrey's constant screams throughout the episode, her iconic lines "Omg, it's Agnes", "Sidney, I think he's dead" and "I'm not American. I'm not used to all of this carnage"
- Dominic bashing Agnes' head in a mirror (or was it a window?).
- Agnes' monologues where she were changing between herself and The Butcher with that hilarious voice.
- Lee's voice when she said "If I see her first, I'll shoot on sight".
- Lee's opera scream when her leg got stabbed.
- Audrey asking the Polks to give back her cocaine.

Well, the next episode's promo shows Audrey going back to the house where she finds dead Dominic while Lee and Monet were only shown in the Polks' home.

But I hope they don't die yet. I'm rooting for Lee the most. She has a daughter out there!

I actually feel the exact opposite.

I abandoned both Freakshow and Hotel, but definitely not this season.
