If people voted for her despite all that has been exposed the only way she would lose is if she were stopped and she's not going to be stopped.
It's just a potential to be another tarnished part of her legacy.

Yeah, but the GOP never really had a chance of losing the House. That would have required a +12-15 Hillary victory due to how the districts are currently drawn.

As far as the Senate, I still think the Dems are in very good shape. It'll be more of a nailbiter (instead of all 7 toss-ups going to Dems as it was possible on Friday), but I think it'll be at least 50-50 if not 51/52 seats for the Dems.

Well, the issue is that there's no way the e-mails will be released when conducting an investigation. They'd have to conclude their results.

Most people know that this won't happen before NOvember 8th so to "specifically ask" is pretty much gaming people knowing that it won't and can't happen on the FBI's end; however, IT can happen on Huma's end.

If there was an authentic desire to release all of the e-mails to the public surely it can be done on her end, right? Why would FBI do it if they haven't finalized and concluded their results

No. They do not know the significance, as has been stated. Comey was simply protecting himself from Republican criticism should it have been leaked that "new emails" were discovered. He's a moron though, because in that case he could've just said "no comment." Now he's getting hit from Dems and former DOJ officials saying her broke protocol. Neither option was ideal for him but he definitely chose the worse option.

Why wouldn't he choose to protect himself? If it leaked new emails relevant to the case were discovered and he didn't report it he would look bad and deservedly so.

FBI is not going to be able to conduct a full investigation before the election...and they know that.

I think the "confidence" comes from either not worrying about the e-mails or if it leads to anything knowing that she'll be pardoned (which is most likely the case if there is something significant).

I don't think this is about believing that people will miraculously change their minds and sway the results. Moreso, yet another piece of the puzzle showing who people are willing to put into the White House despite all of this scandal and mess.

It will probably never happen again where so much has gone down and people will continue to support as if it's not a thing. It's more of a reflection overall of the crisis that exists.

He looks bad either way, he chose the option that made himself look worse. I don't think anyone would've accused him of election tampering outside of Trumpsters had he chose the other option. A no comment would have sufficed because that's protocol. And it helps that he's a Republican, so for the GOP to accuse him of being partisan is not as credible.

It seems as though it was ok in July when it supporting certain groups agenda but now that it's going against it...there's an issue.

But who is accusing him of election tampering? Only the Dems who were singing his praises a few months ago, so it's basically a wash. And being hit by both sides this election season makes him look like he has integrity among the FBI employees who were threatening to leak stuff.
