I'm not going to argue, but as a rampid Hillary supporter even I acknowledge how serious this is. I've had several people (friends and family) tell me that they were going to vote for Hillary, but are scared about how this new review will end up, and thus are no longer voting for her. I'm sure this is an issue that will cause independents and undecided voters to rethink their votes--and that's what the issue is here. I agree that dems will stick with Hillary, but now Trump has the energy and momentum.... and has clearly energized and built his base. This isn't to say that Hillary's going to lose, but I think the election will be up for grabs, especially when the emails issue is one that voters due care about.

Yeah, but the GOP never really had a chance of losing the House. That would have required a +12-15 Hillary victory due to how the districts are currently drawn.

As far as the Senate, I still think the Dems are in very good shape. It'll be more of a nailbiter (instead of all 7 toss-ups going to Dems as it was possible on Friday), but I think it'll be at least 50-50 if not 51/52 seats for the Dems.

There's no way the FBI would put out that letter if those findings weren't significant. And since Huma had thousands of email not turned over, it will take longer than 10 days to go through them.

The real issue is that if Hillary is elected she could be indicted as president elect. And they would have to put forth a special prosecutor to handle the case or she would be in charge of hiring people to investigate her

Except Comey already sent a letter to his staff in which he said they didn't know what the findings were yet.

This. I'm a bit concerned for the Senate more than anything. Polls before the emails already showed a hard time for Dems to take the lead in a couple of close states.

In any other circumstance, there's no way people would vote for someone who could be indicted up taking office, but Trump is really unpopular

If you find related emails, you investigate to be cautious. As to how significant, this is what he says.

I wonder if they will find something concerning the State Dept-Foundation connection in those emails. Now that we know the Clintons used their charitable foundation to enrich themselves by the hundreds of millions, and they now have the emails of Hilary's top aide who worked for it while she was at state, they will may end up having to investigate it.
