I was initially rooting for MR because of its chart performance and it'd fit in the colder weather, but the SNL performance completely convinced me A-YO would be the better single. I'm not sure it'd be wise for them to release MR afterwards. By the time, I think it would already lose its steam/appeal...

If anything I'd like to think that they're going to pretend that PI never happened and A-YO is the "lead" while MR will be the second single. DIC and DH for third and fourth please!

Let's take this into account...PI flopped on radio, so I really don't think A-YO will have a quick ascend up the Top 40, so technically, they're probably playing this very smart. With the freeze happening in mid-December and ending mid-January, A-YO is probably going to peak on radio around Super Bowl!
