Really, how? If she announced, released the lead and album in the same month I feel like it would be bigger.

So then why is it too late for her to do that in November? Lol.

And I don't agree. If the lead isn't up to everyone's taste (I'm not saying that the lead would be bad, but let's say it's too Urban for the casual Pop fans), they're less inclined to listen to the album the first week.

Whereas if it's surprise released, everyone is going to rush to get it and stream it thus securing a solid first week and the chance for a solid overall campaign.
