I was just listening to Grigio Girls and I think the line Sonja was Joanne's friend finally clicked with me. Obviously I pray for Sonja's recovery but I think somewhere in Gaga's mind she's hoping that when/if Sonja passes, Joanne will be up there already waiting at the gates in the sky with a glass of Pinot Grigio to help her pass over.
