If it had leaked it wouldn't have leaked because of Japan.
They don't care because they knew that an album like 'Joanne' would never do that good in Japan but that doesn't mean that a Friday release was a good idea. They could've waited a week and released it next Monday.
Anyway, it's a decline from her previous album but it's still the best first day for a foreign artist in forever.
