Half my irl friends love K-pop (it was what kinda became friends through) and have somewhat decent taste and the other half are antis, one girl in particular likes to make borderline offensive comments at any chance she gets
My first exposure to K-pop was two Korean girls demonstrating the Tell Me dance in a cultural show and tell. Whew, it took everything in me to not get up and scream "yassss."
