We knew the DVD is coming tho she said there is one. The tour is ending inna month so yeah sometime soon they'll announce it unless she's adding shows and they want footage from those too NV backstage etc.

I still think that if they want to release it this year, then they will follow roughly the same schedule as with RAFH. So announcement in like 2 weeks and release date end of November/beginning of December. That would be perfect tbh.

It actually makes sense, HDD tends to have tea about the Sony side but not as much XL, which he's been better on... so what if HDD didn't know the UK label because it's XL? Still wondering how this fits with all the claims (including by HDD) that it's a WW Sony deal, though.
The language in the 2013 contract email from the Sony hack was "extend and expand". Though there's no telling what or when it actually got signed, HDD claimed 2015 but yk...

Perhaps they saw the issues with splitting in the way they have, so Columbia gets to market and distribute (globally?) the albums she produces entirely with XL? Kind of like Beyoncé but not lol.

Will we get the official "deal announcement" after/near the end of 25 era right?? Like despite what Mr Roger said, it doesn't make sense for Sony to let her stay in XL and giving her a HUGE sum of money, what will they benefit from this? The deal would make sense if they bought the rights to her music from XL or maybe i'm making no sense now

Yeah Ronson being involved might have something to do with Cold Shoulder being a single.
I remember Mark said in one interview that when he met her she was like "I want you to produce this" and he said he asked are you sure nothing else etc and was like no just that he said how in control she was and knew what she wanted.

Yeah, I agree that most of Kendrick's pop collaborations are messy. I liked his verse on "Bad Blood," personally, but regardless, his actual solo stuff is better. If Adele were to do a rap collaboration, though, it would have to be for the rapper rather than for her album, because I can't see it fitting her style of music (and I kind of like the fact that her collaborations are always on other people's albums rather than hers). How would y'all feel about her collaborating with Nicki Minaj?

Also, I agree that Adele and Sam Smith cannot and should not happen. I HATE Sam Smith. I don't mind a few of his songs, but in general, his voice is very whiny and he's too much of an Adele wannabe. It's really irritating, and I find his personality to be extremely cringeworthy. (Sorry for any of you who are Sam Smith stans!)

Also, I totally forgot to tell you guys "Right as Rain" was in that movie! I went and saw it a few weeks ago and was lowkey freaking out in the theater when it started playing.

I hear RAR at stores as well, My Same and some other old ones too. I think malls and such like using 19 for the Adele vibes without the tracks being as ubiquitous.
