The remakes use the previous new game's engine. FR/LG used the R/S/E engine, HG/SS used the D/P engine, and AS/OR used X/Y's engine. So either there will be a brand new NX game first or the D/P remakes will be on the 3DS.

There's no way Diamond and Pearl are getting 3DS remakes anyway, it's not a worthy upgrade.

Sun and Moon is another Gen 5, which also started shortly before the 3DS launch.

Give it a few years and Gen 8 will contain the DP remakes, I'm sure of it.

The actual console, though, is kind of ugly. It looks really good in its portable version, but not so much in the docked console version.

What did I just watch. Looks ugly cheap and ridiculous..especially the tiny controller thing that comes off from something ..Idk eew. Mess Nintendo. This is basically something we can do on android since 2011. Only thing going for it is the games. Not going to sell..start the R&D on your next console Nintendo.

It won't break that easy. Have you ever held a 3DS or the Wii U tablet? They aren't fragile by any means.

This is like what I've been needing since I was a little boy. Like... I still remember all the times I've been forced to save and turn off my Wii, PS2 and PS3 because my mum wanted to see the TV and then wait for hours until I could play again.

Now I won't have this problem because I will be able to play as a portable console immediately. (the reason why my DS/3DS is and has been my favourite console )

And even better, I will be able to play multiplayer on the same screen as a portable console without needing a second one. It's a dream came true

They have my money already. Just show me a strong catalog.

Yes. I'm pretty sure if I drop this onto the ground outside it's not going to look like it did before. It's still not safe like.. you're basically bringing the whole console outside with you. If you accidently let it fall into water or someone steals that ****.. you're ****ed. And this thing obviously won't cost the same as a 3DS, so replacing it..

Well whatever I'm not taking it out.
