They probably realized after how horrible the marketing of the Wii U went, they should go for just a little bit more mature on the reveal. Nothing can turn a demographic off more than seeing a bunch of kids and immediately writing it off as a children's toy, in the average persons eyes anyways.

They did fine the first three generations and this screen looks bigger than the GameBoy's so there's hardly anything to worry over

Not bad. I'm kinda scared though. Like, how many of you remember me saying that this new console needs to play games like Skyrim? That they need to get the Elder Scrolls series on it? And look what they did! They made sure to feature Skyrim in the trailer.

I wonder if it's Skyrim as we know it from the 360 or if it's capable of running the remaster coming out next week or if it meets it in the middle?? The Wii U should have gotten Skyrim but Nintendo didn't realize how much they need others.

I may buy this. But I want to see specs and pricing. I'm assuming 30fps won't be a problem and 60fps will be the ideal....unlike the Wii U which played a lot of the top games at 20-25fps

I can see why you'd have that worry, but I dont think it will be an issue. Its actually really hard to actually get something like this dirty. For example, most 3DS I see in public still look pretty pristine, and I don't think these will be extremely fragile. So long as you're not throwing it, smashing it in dirty, or being careless people should be fine.

The handheld probably is 720p, but the framerate seems clunky af w/ Zelda...
Last gen's Tegra chip was stronger than the Wii U and Switch is using new Nvidia architecture. I don't think Xbone power capabilities will be difficult to reach since that chip was already weak in 2013.
