It's hard to tell. They don't give the same weight to all publications.
I'm glad that MR is doing "well" and I won't deny I got a little teary eyed when I first listened to it. But now having listened to the rest, I find it kind of lame Hopefully it's not the next single. The AC crowd could eat it up but artistically it would be such a step back. Even Perfect Illusion is more respectable.

the black keys guy is on the money. the guitars are the least of pi's problems tho, the drums are worse. can't even begin to imagine what they were on while putting that song together. smh glad i deleted it the album flows so much better now.
It really is the 'it-thing' to hate on her. Whether is is the Chainsmokers or someone from the Black Keys, they all seem to dislike PI. And the reasoning they give is so poorly. not even good critism, but just all try-hard answers with comparisons that don't make sense.
I know this was just a first impression kind of thing, but it's just too easy for p4k to do this.
Angel Down is one of my faves. The production on it, the lyrics, her vocals....it's so perfect and displays that emotion so well. One of her best ballads
The work tape version is cool, but the album version is FAR better....it sells the emotion way more, and the work tape version is a biT too theatrical sounding.
It clearly should be given single treatment.
