The movie was such a WEAK spot in H's filmography.
Of course, she is not Meryl Streep. But, that is the ONE movie where most of the negative comments from critics are justified, the poor script and the TV movie quality direction didn't help.
Hilary's WORST movie.

I actually enjoyed Material Girls. Her worst movie is totally Cheaper by Dozen 2. The way they turned her character is . The Razzie nomination for it wasn't surprising at all.
