The thing about Madonna is that they all say she's over and irrelevant and no one cares anymore but they argue about her incessantly and judge her by the same standards they use to judge any younger, current woman in pop. They treat her as someone with the potential to still be commercially and artistically viable though she's near sixty, that's a compliment.
When the girls pretend to love Cher and try to hide behind her when they want to attempt to throw shade at Madonna. All the while knowing just If I Could Turn Back Time, Believe, and Woman's World. Is it 'cause they know they wouldn't have a leg to stand on if they tried it using their real favourite artists?

Don't forget the all-important cover of Shoop Shoop (It's In His Kiss) ... now THAT is where it is.

I'm sure if you dug hard enough there would be a thread about Cher asking about her iconicness/best song etc. and someone would make that ignorant comment 'I love her song True Colors' thinking it's funny.
OT: Living Proof is a solid album and one of her best is Heart of Stone (the song).
