Last year, Adele earned $100,000 per day. She paid $4.9 million in corporation tax in UK, same as Facebook.

Her latest album became the fastest selling in UK history.

Now Adele is reaping the rewards having raked in £30 million [$36.5M] last year, according to newly-released accounts.

The star, thought to be worth £85 million [$103.6M], earned the equivalent of £84,000 [$100k] a day in 2015 through her company Melted Stone Limited.

She pays 4m because it's corporate tax through her Ltd company which is 20% (most ppl do this it's perfectly legal if you earn above 50k a year)she will pay the 40% through her own personal earnings.
