I agree with C/H/A... that episode 2 was god awful trash, but each episode after has been better than the last, with ep 5 possibly being one of the best of the series. So many tense moments. Action packed from beginning to end. My only fear is that the momentum that's been built will fall apart in the second half shift.
And Hotel is worse than I remember. Aside from the finale, I liked it when it aired, but upon rewatch it's really corny.

Roanoke better tug. But it's gonna need some 100s soon. All the other seasons have at least one. Even Hotel (Flicker) and Freak Show (Monsters Among Us)
So what if the twist is that all the filming of the re-enactment actually took place at the house in which the actual hauntings took place. At right after filming wrapped up, the real hauntings begin to take place, so a number of the actors and crew get stuck in the same situation as matt and shelby. If thats the case, it will be interesting to see who would play the real life butcher ghost and Evan's character... etc.
Just caught up with the latest ep. It was really good. Wasn't too sure about this season but it's coming along pretty well and the pacing is picking up. I just hope the documentary segment is over.

There have been theories floating around that Jessica Lange could appear as the real Butcher as well as Finn Wittrock portraying the real Edward Philippe Mott.
As much as I'd like Jessica to come back this is rather unlikely and not comeback-worthy enough.
