I understand this, but the ground game of the Trump campaign is very small - and those are the volunteers who pull people out and make sure they vote. As mentioned, he's already pulled out of Virginia. In other swing states, Clinton has opened up twice/three times as many offices. Not only that, her offices are placed strategically while his (already small) number of offices are set up in locations that already lean Democratic and probably wouldn't vote for him.
There's still a chance he might pull an upset - but at this point, I think he's fired up enough people to go out and vote against him. With the sheer amount of comments he's said about women, ethnic minorities, and more - people are already perched to vote and stop him.
The difference in ground games is precisely why I think Hillary will actually overperform and/or Donald will underperform.

I don't think all 56M are racists. A lot of them think a GOP Congress will keep Donald in check. Some are also thinking about abortion and the Supreme Court.
I don't think she needs to hold 3 rallies a day? That's Trump. I'd just like her to hold maybe one a two a week - they are an effective way at building up voter enthusiasm. I agree that other surrogates are more effective than Hillary is at conveying a message - but I don't think I'm wrong in saying that it'd be great to have them in addition to Hillary personally building up confidence in herself.
And duh, Trump is a dumpster fire with his rallies. I'm not sure why you think that because Trump gets himself in trouble, Hillary would put her foot in her mouth in the same way.

I love Hillary, but she has been so bad at public appearances this election. While Trump holds like 3 rallies a day, Hillary will study for the debate for an entire week. It's definitely important, but I think anyone can see she knows the policies more than he does.
The only thing that isn't sinking her is the fact that she has a team of highly qualified surrogates. After this next debate, I want to see her out and about.

I think someone posted a tweet how statistically, a major party candidate will get a certain amount of votes no matter what. In other words, Trump's numbers can only dwindle for so long.
It's cute to say "Don't get complacent." But voter registration and early voting is up in most swing states.
Her robust field operation and ad buy will do wonders for her. Hell I'd rather you scream complacent with a 5-10 point lead rather than a nail-biting election.
