Hes a Democrat because he lives in D.C. There is no point registering Republican in D.C. because the Republican primary winner will never win the general election. A lot of people who might register as Republican's in other states register as Democrats in D.C. in order to influence Democrat primary elections to have more moderate candidates.

Unlike Obama and Bernie though, Trump supporters are more likely to be labelled as being racist or sexist or xenophobic though. To prevent that, they might keep their voting preference a secret. I'm not saying there are millions of silent Trump voters but I wouldn't be quick to dismiss the idea that there's a group of "secret" Trumpers out there.

There is no shy effect in America. I don't know what election ever came at a surprise this late in the game. We've had bad candidates before.

And I don't think people will protest vote if the polls seems too big. It looks like Hillary's momentum is rising and not many people pay attention to polls. Y'all have to remember there are millions of people who don't follow every detail of the election like we do.

It feels like Hillary's support is louder than ever. Just the vibe that I've been getting lately. More people are saying that they're with her, not just against Trump.

Also, I feel bad for Trump supporters who don't believe the polls. It's super annoying as somebody studying stats, though. The unskewers are the worst. I hope that for a lot of them this is their first election and they learn from it. But for now it suggests a severe lack of education.
