@Magickarp You need to get things into perspective, I don't doubt for a minute you think is bad, and it probably is to you, but is it that bad really ? You're 19, still very young and from a pretty privileged family if they can afford those fees. If you feel isolated, homeschool is obviously not the solution. There are tons of ways you can get to know someone if you're shy, you have the whole internet for you, and you can talk and talk and talk and know a person inside out before actually meeting them I'm not saying it's easy but try !
As for your education, again you're still very young, you can get those years back if you try hard, you're 3 years behind, but it's high school years so it's doable, pretty damn hard but doable. What do you want to do ? Which subject would you like to study, what kind of jobs do you want ? To get into some "higher education" schools (not sure of the english term, basically university level) the "only" requirement is to pass an exam, you don't always need to finish high school, plus let's say you do try to finish high school on your terms, being alone with a teacher, or if you try to self teach yourself through books you'll go MUCH faster than how fast it'd be in a regular class obviously. I say you can have those 3 years back in 1.5-2 years. You'll only be 21. People finish high school at 18 right, is it that big of a deal ? In the meantime you can already bulk up your CV as you're legal to work in the summer, start uni or whatever you want at 21, you'll already have plenty of professional experiences that other university students have not and it might help you if you want to pursue a master degree down the road
And if you do not wish to go that far into your studies, you'll finish high school at 21 instead of 18. BIG DEAL.
It's fine, mate, it really is
