I'm starting to think that noone knows the diffrence between an midtempo, slow song or ballad.
Either way, Promise was a first single (although Get Up was technically the first but it was also a soundtrack song) and it didn't flop. So let's see. She doesn't need an uptempo, just as long as the song is good.

Though a crazy uptempo would INSTANTLY catch people's ear and probably get them excited a little easier. .Not a big deal anyway
