In August I would agree, but now she needs to be UP and big especially since 40-60% of all votes will come from early voting depending on the state. If she's up big, that means she's doing better in early voting and will help her target the last few she needs from the undecided going into the last 2-3 weeks.
If she's still up only 1-2 points by late-October, we have a problem. That means her base is not energetic at all.
