(this was when I joined ATRL firsthand)

then I got carried away with how much bashing Asians get in this forum and went overboard with the K-pop posting...

you can't assume everybody there (on OH) can understand English up to the point where they can find urban slang/gay slang/american slang funny, more or less understand it...

cut the OH users some slack (maybe not me cause i can get a little excessive and I know that) some of them just simply don't understand how humor in english-speaking countries work...

(the only users that use urban slang there always get called out for being trolls or whatnot just because 99% of the users can't understand them.)

I still remember when the Irene mistranslation thing happened someone here linked to the thread in OH about it and most of the comments were homophobic and disgusting

I'm not calling every user on the forum childish, it's just the overall vibe that I feel of the forum. I do know a lot of the members are very young and probably don't have english as their main language (it's understandable since I make some tragic grammar mistakes as well because I learned english by myself).

well, OH is a very international forum (ATRL is mostly just ppl from the U.S., U.K., AUS, Europe and JeiBoy who comes from Asia) and you'd be hardpressed to find people who are THAT supportive of LGBT rights.

(im a straight girl but i do really support LGBT rights. as long as they ain't annoying gays like Frankie Grande then i'm good)
