Was I talking about the song?

I literally said personal growth. Which means she's grown out of the person she used to be in some way or another. Fame hungry, hit chasing popstar. She'd slowly stopped making a clown out of herself with her costumes. Worked on her attitude toward the material she puts out.
The new, happy, positive gaga don't care and it clearly frustrates some people who'll be forced to find another girl to live vicariously through cause they have nothing going for themselves.
They sit behind computer screens arguing who she should have worked with to get a hit, how she should have planned her promo spots, radio deals this and that. They're clearly delusional enough to think for a second they have any knowledge or experience working for such a force.
This is what it boils down to really.

The more miserable they are in their real life the more invested in this whole game of hits and success they get. And more disappointed and angry at her when she starts flopping. Cause they take it personally. Cause her success fills them with accomplishment cause they don't know that feeling from achieving it themselves

Woo lord.
