Justin and Gaga cannot be compared. Justin never stopped being relevant in the eyes of the GP. He also has a legion of dedicated fans sworn to him because they are attracted to him. Most importantly, his new music is very accessible and they were gunning for a comeback. Everyone is viewing this era as a comeback era except Gaga and her team.

This is NOT true. The public is definitely here for Lady Gaga, they are not here for Lady Gaga's music It's weird, but they don't mind her performing, they just want her to release good music. Or rather music that THEY can consume cause tbh her music is good to me. The problem is that she likes to be divisive, loud, and brash. Yeah, her music is catchy but it usually doesn't fit in with what radio wants right now. The other times she smashed she was riding the wave of the trend SHE set. Those days are dead and gone, and now she has to find another way to either fit what the public wants or create something that while different, the public will be okay will latching onto.

I had a dream last night that I heard Diamond Heart and it was AMAZING. It was a total smash and the chorus was mind-blowing. Her vocals were sung in a different manner than PI, way more pleasant. It reminded me her of pre-2010 vocals. This might be my most anticipated track now.

Eh, if we were to judge everyone by their last hit/flops then that would mean if you flopped once you'd NEVER be able to come back again. Think about it, the problem is that she's done

1. No real tangible promo anywhere
2. the song is not what radio is eating up
3. she isn't really trying to make it happen either.

And really I agree that Justin Bieber has a huge fanbase, but his issue was never not being able to sell music as his "singles collection" Journals and Believe were both more than Okay sellers for what they were. So he repaired it by releasing some EXTREMELY GP FRIENDLY MUSIC

It has not really much else to do with that, she has everything else in the bag to make it

But I said either hype or promo. If artist flopped then he needs to work by promoting to get out there again. This is what i said : "You can't have a hit without promotion nor hype, you need at least one of these"

i mean you said same thing I said in your first and third point

If she had hype she could smash without promotion, but now that she doesn't she needs to work to get song out there.
