Your fascination with the ugly FF era is really something. FF was not a real era either. The only thing that I miss is the music being the focus but other than that I prefer Britney being Britney and giving us quality. I wouldn't trade an amazing album for a couple of forgotten hits.

Lmao, they are just doing things differently now. You can tell that frontloading the album campaign with a second single a few weeks after the lead isn't their plan anymore like it used to be before. They have performances booked for December and there's gonna be more in between so they're gonna release a single to coincide with that.

Ofc there will be single number 2 but Britney only gets support from Pop radio, therefore once her albums get released and eats away at her sales, and without crossover appeal she gets limited play, it becomes harder to score hits. All of Britneys biggest hits are either first or second singles. The 2nd single will chart like in the top 50 at most. Nobody will give her a budget for more singles if her music stops making money.

It's really not a big mystery. Her conservatorship was still new, she didn't have primary custody and her medication dosage was off.

Yes sure. Once the FF era was over she was so happy during X Factor and then when that was over she was so ecstatic during Britney Jean, after Britney Jean was over she was glowing with happiness in 2014 and early 2015 right? You really think music was the only issue? Hate to break this to you but the conservatorship started with Circus, she was unhappy with Britney 2001, she originally wanted an adult contemporary sound for her career but her label stuck her with Max whom she went along with cuz she wanted to be a pop star. I mean if we go by these standards then the only albums we can love without feeling guilty are ITZ Blackout and Glory.
