Just came back here after a few days and damn, didn't know the song was doing that bad.

PI is amazing but what truly makes me sad is that she had all the right people around her to make it a 10/10 song, a big hit and instead Mark, Kevin and BloodPop came up with a repetitive song with no real chorus, subpar lyrics and a production that won't stand out cause of her screaming.

Mark Ronson and BloodPop had two of the biggest hits in the past years, for God's sake. They surely knew what would make it a hit or not. I mean, they've been hyping the song since the moment it was announced. Bloodpop himself said the song would be a smash. I don't know what was he thinking.

The producers can't force her to sing with pleasant vocals

She needs to tone down the wierd facial expressions..she looked strange in pi vi, like she's dancing and singing like a possessed woman..I get it, she pours herself into Her music but at the beginning of her career she was more refined and less all over the place, I guess. It doesn't come off as effortless and now I see why people call it desperate. I'm hoping this was the hype single...lol she deserves another shot lol allot of major pop girls get those.

Agreed. I am sure if this trend goes on, in future she'll make a documentary on her regret. What confuses me is all the pics,we got of her Ronson and her guitar under trees. Expected something stripped down at that point but they constantly said dance but all the images were misleading.
Then P.I dropped and it was the opposite of everything shown in her images, P.I fits into BTW images

jeez, this thread is so depressing..
it's unfortunate to see PI preforming so badly, especially since i had such high hopes for her comeback. but i still like the song and i'm sure i will like joanne, so i guess that's what matters

Believe me that is the only thing that matters. If you love something you shouldn't care about its success, whether or not it is high on charts. It's just about the taste, Gaga released an unorthodox song in the middle of this trashy music era (where trashy groups like The Chainsmokers are on top). I believe that we should look forward for what's next, and if we like and enjoy it we should completely ignore the negativity aroused by chart's positions.
