I've been watching bits of the Glastonbury set throughout the week, too. Seriously one of her best ever performances. I just love it so much. The "Someone Like You" sing-along still kills me.
Have you ever chased ghosts?
I chased a lot with Adele [on 25]. 21 was so catastrophically big that nobody, *including herself, quite knew what to do to follow that. I walked into the session with “Remedy” already started. I don’t like to walk in with a finished song — it’s kind of offensive if you do that when somebody is as talented a writer as Adele. I played it for her, and she was like, “I want to write this now and I want to record this now, and this is going to be about my son.” It immediately *resonated with her.
I thought you guys figured it was likely Ed Sheeran.
Yeah if not Bruno him. They met a couple times last year at least so it's not completely out there. If it does exist hopefully they just decided to spare me from death for a few years and will release it because that's honestly my dream song.
I never would've imagined she'd duet with Ed Sheeran, but I think it would be AMAZING if they did. Pretty sure it's with Bruno, though; I really hope it makes it onto his new album. Their voices would sound incredible together.
I'm still waiting for her to duet with John Legend, too.
