Anywho i just saw this article on the new york post.

The World Cup is the biggest sporting event in the world ... except for America. We prefer sports that involve hitting (football) or adultery (golf). But take my word for it, it's popular.

To celebrate the Cup, which is being held in South Africa, EA Sports is releasing the 2010 FIFA World Cup video game with an exclusive title track -- "Africa" -- from the one woman with a no fibbing disposition, Shakira. I think it's hilarious that us Yanks will be playing the game, while the rest of the planet actually watches it. I'm sure there is some sort of $20 Harvard word for that, but I don't know it.

If that isn't enough, the "She Wolf" will perform at the June 10 opening ceremony along with Alicia Keys, Black Eyed Peas, BLK JKS and John Legend at Orlando Stadium in Soweto/Johannesburg.

If you're like me, you will just be sitting at home watching the concert as you eat a pint of coconut sorbet while telling yourself you will go to the gym ... tomorrow.

So the game will include that leaked "Africa" song .. i love this song and i hope its on this upcoming billingual album!

omg more amazing news, this time from the official neptunes website. It confirms that the album will indeed be billingual and that she will once again collab w/Pharrell!!!!!

You can expect more collaborations between Shakira and The Neptunes, she has declared how much she loves Pharrell. Shakira claims she works well with Pharrell Williams because they have great chemistry together. That is the reason why they are spending some quality time on the studio again – which will feature a mix of Spanish and English songs – and claims they have the ideal working relationship. She said: “Pharrell is really great. We have lots of chemistry together. “I learnt a lot from him when we worked on my last album ‘She Wolf‘.

He’s so fast in the studio, whereas I’m usually so slow. I take so much time on one decision; I go in circles sometimes, whereas he is very immediate.” The 33-year-old singer had originally planned to make the album all in Spanish, but changed her mind when she was overwhelmed by a wave of creativity. She explained: “I’d already written half of this album and it was always the plan to release a Spanish album next. I’ve felt very inspired in the last month, so I went for it. I started writing some material in English, too, which I’m going to use on this album.”

I thoroughly enjoy "Gypsy". The day I bought She Wolf I knew that that was my favorite song. UNFORTUNATELY (because of her STUPID label), she is getting NO support from radio because of NO promotion.
