2. If you mean selling 500k worldwide, it debuted with around 200k if I'm not mistaken. I think it will eventually get there.
I love how several Twitter Monsters are trying to argue that sales do matter because she needs it for her income as if she's not worth nearly $300 million.
Sales do matter though (not because she's going bankrupt or anything, that's dumb). But as stans we should value sales cause at the end of the day, the more sales she has, the more budget & interesting the era can be. There's more possibilities when she's being successful than when she's being a flop.
I mean, it obviously shouldn't be the #1 priority, but to act like they 100% don't matter is dumb too.
The fact that she through together an entire tour in just a couple months and then completely revamped that tour with huge visuals and a huge storyline while on that first tour .... And now look what we have.
Her passion for performance art is gone, let's face it. She wants to make music, be an actress, enjoy her life, etc. She doesn't want to give huge elaborate performances or wear crazy outfits or do shocking things anymore, and that's that.
And yes i am a redone fan, i have a feeling, whatever was scrapped were mega hits and music magic that would have Gagged my ears with quality, especially when Nile Rodgers was to equally produce some songs. Oh well maybe all this will be for next era.

Hm, you have a point. Maybe it's not that she doesn't want to do promo, it's just that the label didn't give her a bigger budget for promo.
