Mariah's legacy is one of the few in the pop world that was and is legimately based on talent, her voice. In her early days there was no gimmicks, no antics, no desperately selling sex. Just a voice. Her voice is her shtick. Miley's shtick is gimmicks and shock factor. Nothing more.
Either way i'm sure the feeling is more than mutual on Mariah's part.

I don't think Mariah will respond unless someone asks her about it in an interview. Tbh, I doubt Mariah will care. It's just Miley Cyrus.

Wait, is she high!? I read that 5 times and I thought it was Mariah mentioning that about Miley since that would make sense but that is such a BS response as to why she's never been a fan. Mariah, is one of the few legendary artists from the 90's who became famous absolutely and solely on her voice alone. Her voice was so powerful that she never relied on any gimmicks or shticks to get her to the level of stardom that she was in for decades which is now what artists rely on to remain popular. I'm sorry but Miley is dumb, I mean what story is she sharing? Her whole career has been publicity stunts from the get go and what she wears to cause controversy. The most hypocrite response ever.

miley is right. mariah just is not intelligent, interesting, cultural, or has anything to say. shes just another stupid american singer. europe (except for the UK) doesnt like her because they look for things other than kitsch
and mariah sells sex in the submissive, stereotypical manner, to please boys

She contradicted herself here. It just seems like she's ignorant to the first 15 years or so of Mariah Carey's career.

And even now. Songs like Faded and Camouflage on her last album are some of the most personal songs that's she's ever made. People see in Mariah what they want to see, always have and always will. That's why when people say things about her I can clearly tell when they know nothing about her.
