The college educated need to see that Trump has basic competency on the issues and can keep it his cool. If he performs well, we may see Trump gain even more in the polls since they'll be voting based on issues and not on competency. Romney won that group in 2012

One of her problems is that where she gains votes (minorities in the south) tend to be in safer red states, but she is hemorrhaging votes in the swing states (working class whites).

Unfortunate but it can't be helped. I still have belief that she will channel 2008 debate skills and mop the floor with him (or at the very least Trump will mess himself up) but this is one model from about 5/6 reputable ones. The rest still have her ahead based on polling averages (for example shes still up in FL based on averages as well as NV which would give her 306 EVs).

I dont trust white people to reject Trump's non message/minorities to come out to vote (considering 30% of her voters arent even registered).

Today is quite honestly the most important night of 2016 in the race and if she doesnt completely shatter expectations the WH will be a toss up that may even lean Trump as long as he doesnt fumble anymore

If Trump speaks calmly, doesn't attack Hillary and looks composed...the media will claim that he looked Presidential and its a 'different' Trump. Honestly, he doesn't even have to be coherent when talking policy or provide any substance, that's how low the bar is for him lol

If he comes out in attack mode and defensive, he'll fall flat on his ass because he'll be reaffirming the narrative that he's a loose canon who's unfit to lead as President.
