I'm not a big fan of remixes in general. Often they feel like someone just took a house and painted it a new color. But a remix where people go in and knock down the walls and create new spaces in the house, bring in a new interior designer, update the heating and cooling system... basically remixes that can function as their own songs and not the original with an untz-untz-untz behind it.

I have one Madonna single and it's Vogue. I'm sure it's somewhere in one of my drawers of nonsense. The dream, of course, is to get my hands on a Rescue Me with those Titanic and Lifeboat and Houseboat mixes, etc. I've had a lifelong fixation on the RMS Titanic so that + Madonna = A Happy Humoresque.

I used to have over 500 Madonna remixes on my computer. I don't know how many I have now but I've always liked "Frozen (Bands Forgotten Mix)" with the "If You Forget Me" spoken word intro. I don't see if on youtube and I'm listening to it and my copy is pretty low quality.
