But speaking of me rewriting some of Ryan Murphy's bad scripts, I'm going to go rewrite Coven's finale real quick and see how that goes.

Glad I encouraged you to finally go back to your talents.
You're welcome! I'll be expecting a copy when it's finished.

It's definitely an improvement, but I agree with you
It's going waaaay to slow
We're almost a third of the way through the season (next week) and we don't have a major plot yet other than a creepy house
Like, it needs to go somewhere, or it'll be Freakshow 2.0

girl bye CHANEL. What "pointless" jump scares are you talking about? Everything has a purpose.
When Shelly was drowned in the pool? Not pointless. Not only did this introduce us to Kathy and the colonists, it demonstrated Shelly's naiveté. It demonstrated the colonist's ruthlessness and how unafraid they are at taking cheap shots. Yet they didn't kill her, they let her live.. Why is that? Learn to critically analyze.
You can analyze all of the elements in this show. Not to mention, AHS is all about overarching themes/plots/ideas. Last week one might say that "creepy nurses walking down hallway!!!!" is pointless. But wouldn't ya know it, we gain tons of information on them in this episode. But not enough to answer all of our questions. There is still so much we don't know and tons more for them to cover.
Chanel, you think you're smarter than everyone else in here yet you see things in the most BASIC, SURFACE LEVEL way possible. You are simply watching the show. You don't look deeply. You have your laptop open on your side ready to make shady comments on a pop music forum at all times. Poor you and your BAD, CASUAL opinions.

Think there is any possibility that the cop will play a bigger role and maybe the real life version of him is who Evan is playing? He was a red head

I'm getting slight Mr Robot Sam Esmail style writing and tone teas because thats what this season pace and setup is reminding me of and probably why I'm enjoying it so much in how its building.

Nah. I already made my points and covered most of everything that was in that response; I don't want to grow repetitive, because that just pisses people off more, apparently.
People getting "hopeful" about what's to come or making more assumptions is what made everyone so pissed off with Freak Show; everyone had high hopes and threw theories around, and yet everyone ended up disappointed because it didn't happen.
I don't look at the show just on the surface; I realize there's more to it underneath. But this season hasn't provided anything I consider amazing thus far, and that includes potential. I realize it has potential, the previews show that, but it also looks like a lot of the same. Many of the things established in one or two of the scares is already established, and doesn't need to be repeated, and yet it is.
Perhaps part of it was that we were kept in the dark pre-season, as opposed to learning half of the exposition beforehand, but the point is, we learned a lot about the seasons before in the past, and this, we're just seeing what we're presented, and it's just not ridiculously interesting to me. Sure, like I said, I get in the moment of things because you have no other option but to when you're watching, but it doesn't feel like it's adding up to anything very mind-blowing... at least yet. And a lot of things feel like they're just filling up the timeslot they have, which I still think is really strange because this is the shortest season the show will have had. The episodes feel scarce, and empty, and I'm not a fan of that.
But Murder House managed to lead is in blind, and had a lot of the same elements this season did, but I felt more engaged. Characters were real, they were vivid, and the plot was very clear from the beginning. This season feels like a watered down version of that, thus far.
The highlight of it, for me, is everything revolving Lee, which is surprising cuz I was most excited for Lily.
Now, I don't hate this season, nor do I want it to fail; I just see issues with it that I can't help but talk about because they're mistakes Ryan Murphy should not be making this late into his career, or this late into the show. But I'll keep watching.
But, as usual, that's just my opinion, and I guess I see why some people get upset about that.

The fighting in here
I get that it hasn't been super fast paced but I'd rather it go steady and be solid. Better than it being super action packed at the beginning of the season and they run out of ways to fill the end of the season....Coven for example. The last few episodes suffered because of how eventful the beginning of the season was. And besides, not every episode will be this slow.

This **** is literally Asylum 2.0 and y'all are dragging.
See the light everyone!
With that being said the pacing is slow AF but I'm still invested. I can agree that not a damn thing happened tonight.
