I'm glad you had such a great time, iamvladd! You deserve it!

I really hope she doesn't take as long of a break this time. I'm expecting her to disappear for a while again, but I'm praying to God it's not for as long. I know this album was really difficult for her to make, but that makes me wonder if she's going to to struggle to make her fourth album as well. I can't imagine her being in that different of a place from where she's at now.

Also, side note... I had a dream last night that I met Adele and Beyoncé, and I was more excited about meeting Beyoncé than Adele. Then I woke up and hated myself for not freaking out in the dream over meeting Adele. I'm such a mess.

Kid starts school -> Adele has more free time aka the hours he is missing -> she gets to work on the album without feeling guilty of leaving him for work-> plus the new contract with Sony won't let her take 5 years off -> we get the album faster.

tbh i have a feeling she might be easier off writing her next album since she's not "bound" to write songs mirroring her own experiences and feelings, she may feel able to kind open her mind and not just do another diary. i also kind of think she wants to let loose and try on new stuff musically as well.

but it might be the opposite, i dunno.
i thought about it yesterday; she really comes from such a modest background with no real plan of becoming a 24/7 superstar and just deliver hits.

i would be 100% here for her wanting to go back to her roots musically and develop them in her own way.
but....i really have no idea
i just hope she doesn't decide to quit music!

Also, this is really weird, but you know how Adele referred to the Brangelina split as "the end of an era" last night? Well, yesterday I was watching Friends and it was the episode where Chandler and Monica move in together, so Chandler moves out of Joey's apartment and Monica has to tell Rachel to move out, and there's this joke throughout the whole episode about how it's "the end of an era," so I thought it was really weird that she brought that up. I think Adele is spying on me.... She really turned the tables on me there; everyone thought I was one creeping on her.

You make a good point, too! I mean, I don't see her ever really straying from the idea that she has to write about her own life, because she wants to write real music that she and her fans can relate to. And I get that. But I'm fine if she "lets loose and tries new stuff musically," like you said. As long as she keeps working with Paul and Tobias, though, I'm happy. I just can't handle another break that leaves us in the dark like last time, though.
