She used to get so emotional & upset l when singing Take It All on tour it's the sing that started it all & people who have heard it live in concert say it's unbelievable

IFPI really is the be-all and end-all source for shipments to sale and digital sales. Last year 25 shipped 17.4 million (http://www.ifpi.org/best-sellers.php), interesting to see what she will do this year..

girl. sales have collapsed since then and that was her "breakout" album in the US at least so ppl were discovering her very slowly at different times. With 25 everyone already knows Adele and purchased the album in the first few months since it's release. Plus the album will keep selling through out the holiday season, the grammy season and thanks to the 4th single (Water Under The Bridge). Don't worry

just 44 weeks, Adele's "25" passed the 9 million scanned mark this week. For the record, "21" pushed thru the 9 million mark in 63 weeks.

I think Adele is definitely the last of the great album sellers. The way the industry is rapidly changing I cant imagine any other artists reaching her numbers. Certainly no established artist we know of can reach these numbers. A new sensation would have to build up their reputation in a time where streaming is about to surpass sales in revenue. Which I think makes it virtually impossible to rack up Adeles kind of sales ever again.

I think she is her only threat. In music sales terms she is kinda like the last great living dinosaur before they go extinct.
