Bruno Mars released LOoH on early October for a December album too but things are nawt looking up for us.
I've been thinking about when her next era could start. Now, aside from albums 1 & 4 she's always released in the fall, right before the holiday season. This time in 2010 we didn't know when the next album was coming out, just that a greatest hits album was in the works. It wasn't until October that we had a single. GTPS didn't hit radio until September. She announced Rose Ave with one month's notice.
I feel that there is still time for a single to be released. She's been making music since TTAL era ended and we've seen songs from You + Me to theme songs and duets. So it's not unreasonable to assume that she's also worked on material for her next album. The only obstacle would be Willow. Now, while Kindergarten is mostly daycare it's still a big step in a child's life. We wouldn't see P!nk going off while her kid is at school. But that's assuming she would do a promo tour like she has done with past albums. I don't think she would need to hike across the country like she did last time. Lots of acts put out music without much promo. It's successful on its own and I think that P!nk would be able to do that.
How exactly? Spotify is the biggest way to have a hit these days. And they're also as crooked as any other form of consumption. The label needs to buy some playlist spots. The fact that JLF was so big on radio and sales without ever once appearing on any playlist to my knowledge shows that it's a pay to play system. Not every song on a lot of playlists will become a hit but P!nk is popular amongst teens and adults.
As far as touring goes, school ends around May-June in the United States and doesn't start again until August-September depending on where in the country you are. That would give her 3 months to tour. Plenty of time if she did the smart thing and charged more, did bigger venues and fewer shows. She's too big to be doing 150+ dates. If Beyoncé can gross 5 million per date, there's no reason a superior live act can't do the same. She wouldn't be so worn out by the end of it if there were only 70-95 dates. I imagine part of the reason why this break has been so long is that the tour was exhausting. She doesn't need to grind like an up and comer

She'll drop album later this year, and after that she'll go on a tour (probably less than 100 dates). We won't get as much promotion this time, at least not worldwide. At least that's what i'm expecting this time around. And then she'll disappear for another 4 years.
