On another note, I just realized that Cuba couldn't have seen the people on the cam he installed if they were ghosts. So maybe it were the rednecks?

Btw guys we don't know that everyone survives this season.

For all we know the documentary thing can be a "talking beyond the grave" type of thing.

Also, I think they are purposely using different actors to tell the story rather than the actually people themselves to set up a major twist(I know Ryan's got it in him, I never saw the Bloodyface twist happing in S2, I was floored)

I've just seen the premiere and totally loved it. I like that they updated the format and the storytelling, it's really fresh, and the episode was truly haunting with some legitimately scary moments.

I've changed my guesses on the season again. I feel like for the first few episodes we will get these interview type of scenes but then we actually see them in real time and see that their horrors are far from over because why else would we know who actually lives this season from the get go. I know Ryan has it in him to wow us all

Maybe it's a good thing that they started off so slow. I think the first episode of Hotel turned a lot of people away, it was just a biT too much (mainly with the sex scenes), which is a shame because the season ended up being great as it went on.

If you look closely during the drowining scene too, you can clearly see Kathy and Wes's faces.

I'd like to believe that the documentary/interview/reenactment gimmick won't last the whole season and there'll be some twist, but I'm done putting faith in Ryan's stupid ass. I can't even enjoy the genuinely good horror they put in the reenactments because of the stupid ****ing voiceovers killing the tension and stereotypical overdramatic reenactment dialogue and camera angles reducing the tone.

Like I can't comprehend how anyone can be happy with this premiere. the framework for a potentially good season is there but only if they drop this documentary ****, which I highly doubt they will.

did y'all see the title of the movie being shown at the scene where Matt gets beaten up by the gang outside the theater? "Crimson Harvest", I googled but nothing interesting yet, an episode of a show "Murder, She Wrote" was titled like that, should we look into it?

It had some creepiness, it had some great cinematography, but the re-enaction, documentary set-up isn't new or interesting, and it doesn't add to the story; it takes away suspense a lot more, too.

And even with a couple jump scares and some weird nonsense, it still felt very vacant compared to the rich premiers we've had for the last 5 years.

Omg I can't. I hate the strong man so much. The fact that he killed Ma Petite She was my favorite in Freakshow (but lbr that season didn't have any great characters, only a few tolerable ones)

I loved the premiere. AHS has been so messy and all over the place with their plot/s. This seems really promising
