I can't believe how needy/greedy people are being with this era. Like I'm just blessed that we got an amazing lead single, we're getting the album in a month, she served us a gorgeous and different album cover, and she seems so happy right now. I'll be happy with whatever she puts out and I know it'll be phenomenal and seemingly very different.
To be honest I never fully appreciated her 'gimmicks', really. I'm loving the minimalist approach so far as I've always enjoyed her as an artist (Her + piano) way before she became The Fame Monster and I didn't really give a **** about her chart positions, so I'm really excited for Joanne. I also don't think that Perfect Illusion is different from her previous work , the verses are quite similar to No Way or Animal, though I'm glad that the fickle sheeple have left her. Good riddance.

I feel the same way as you. Personally, I haven't been disappointed by anything she's released so far and everything we've heard about the album sounds amazing (that Florence feature in particular)
I dont like the way she looks directly at some point in the cover 🤔 She could pose better imo. The colors are beautiful and idk it's very simple, not bad, not gorgeous either
Alright, so I woke up and the title is finally sinking in. I don't hate it as much as I did when it was first released, but I still think she could have done MUCH better.
