The opening episode was fantastic. Short, sharp, punchy, fresh and exactly what the show needed. Hotel was still a little slow and nichy, but this felt like it struck the balance right.
I feel like this season will explore racism, colonialism and substance addiction and the fallout from it on those surrounding the addict in terms of the sociological themes. Exciting!
it's the first episode. In most horror shows the protagonists only get suspicious in the pilot but this episode had an home invasion and Shelby already running into the ghosts in the end.
I know the interview bits aren't mean to be serious but they don't fit the show at all and they ruin the flow. It's like they were put there to fill up the 40 minutes
Other than that it was really good, but overall I'm mixed. I'd love it if it weren't for the interview scenes.
