You remain wrong and still have no idea what you're talking about it.

I do love the show; I consider it something I'm passionate about. And yet Ryan Murphy is an incorrigible cow who doesn't know what the hell he's doing half of the time (though the other half is always pure magic).

You mistaking genuine criticism for me "praying for the show to fail" is the mistake. But keep trying, I guess.

The rest was a Buffy-sized atrocity

I'm curious to see how it'll fare in episode 2, though I like the feel of it for sure

Other way around. Settlers scalped Native Americans to mock their traditions. Scalping is a part of Native American war culture hence the settler zombie having the skin flap on its head .

They're definitely going to deal with the two disappearing settler groups. I mean, we just saw skeletons everywhere and we know "Croatoan" shows up.

Sometimes its coming off you are bitching just to bitch. This brought back horror to american horror story. Not Gore, Not campy. Just strictly horror. Horror may not terrify you always.

This, so far, is right up my alley. I found it creepy and spooky as hell. Very Blair witch. I get creeped out by things that could actually happen - lost in the woods , creepy hillbillies terrorizing you

I just think there are two types of responses for the premiere.

Half are taking the episode at face value, which leads them to be more critical. They are aware of the possibilities that this style of show possess, but also are only working with what they've been shown which, for a first episode, this was really scarce on details.

The other half are looking forward more to the possibilities and less about the premiere episode itself. This documentary style is very promising to a lot of us, especially with the scarce details because it could go so many different ways.

Rewatching the episode and you cannot convince me that those figures aren't a direct reference to Blair Witch. It's not just something creepy in the woods or a generic "be warned" figure. Those are the same exact figures.

Fancy that, I'm in a thread titled American Horror Story because American Horror Story is what I wish to discuss. The problem with you is that you constantly feel the need to bring up and compare your season to everything that AHS does. It's off topic and tiresome to read. It gets to me sometimes sis, sorry about that. really though, I'm sure there's a thread out there for mediocre amateur writers where you could discuss this. And if not you might wanna consider creating one, you'd be the perfect OP.
