"The Strangers" is one of the creepiest movies I've seen and I love how this reminded me of that. I think the season is going to get really dark and disturbing, exploring witchcraft and devil worship.
The guy at the end had his scalp cut off. That's what settlers would do to native Americans. I feel like it's going to be less satanic/witchcraft and more like nature mysticism or shamanism.
I had a bad experience once tho. That scene in Hotel where the kids started killing their teachers and sucking their blood tripped me the **** out. I ended up almost fainting.
I was jsut way too high that night.
BITCH I haven't WATCHED
Oh well. I will still have my wig snatched if **** is this crazy tbh
That is why Im scared. We are dealing with Ryan and he gets messy always
True. gLee went to **** in season 3. AHS went to **** in season 3. Scream Queens went to **** in the finale of season 1 (granted he clearly changed the killer to keep the show running).
He needs to stop writing. Give your ideas to someone talented, Ryan.
The issue some people have with this season is that they don't have the imagination to realize what this concept could blossom into. And the fact that they gave us very little rather than spilling the beans to "wow" and "shock" us kind of shows me that they're taking this in the right direction rather than pulling more style over substance.
Lack of imagination
Coming from someone stanning for a show that's already ripped off a dozen iconic horror films in this premier alone.
Asylum > ?6 > Murder House > Coven > Freakshow > Hotel
This is the proper ranking for intros
I quite like the narration, really different and makes it a smoother show
Plus, a lot less B-Side footage or random "pretty" shots like in previous seasons that did nothing for the tone
Also, kudos for the color scheme/darker theme this episode!

Hotel was a gory mess, if you're into the theatrics and style you will love it. The storytelling wasn't the best, although there was a few great moments.
Honestly the marketing worked brilliantly bc I probably wouldn't have been nearly as entertained if I had as much info going into this as we usually do before an AHS premiere.

Yes sis I'm very much an imagery person. Love **** like that. I'll def post back and let y'all know what I think

I mean, Bitchcraft is the only ep of the show to ever get a writing nom, but okay.

Bitchcraft got its nom for the portion that was set in 1834, not the present (which ended up being the writing of the rest of the season), hence its loss and the episode torpedoing after about 13min
